At the heart of The Referral HQ is Matt Anderson — a global specialist in helping financial advisers identify and implement their most profitable habits, overcome obstacles, and significantly increase their referral business. Matt has worked with advisers in 15 countries and is the author of six books, including the international bestseller Fearless Referrals and The 5 Habits to Mine Your Gold.

This belief inspired Matt to create the 4 Step Fearless Referral Process, and since then, the Relationship Revenue Engine and other systems designed to help advisers focus on where the money is by becoming the indispensable boxing-coach in-the-corner.

Our methodology is simple: teach, guide, and support. From structured training programs to personalised 1:1 coaching, we provide the mindsets, roadmap, actions and encouragement needed to go upmarket and run the business you really want.

 

We also emphasise authenticity. Referral strategies aren’t about manipulation—they’re about helping your clients and network see the value you provide and naturally sharing that with others. Meet Matt 

Matt helps financial advisers get top 1% sales results c/o relationship-driven client acquisition systems.

His referral systems and results-driven approach has made him a sought-after speaker for 25 years to audiences from over 40 countries. His clients include advisers from 15 different countries.

Meet Paul

Paul is a financial services marketing professional and has spent 20 years consulting with some of the UK’s highest performing advisers and firms, whilst working for the UK’s leading wealth management firm.

Across his career, Paul has designed and delivered innovative marketing and digital systems that have driven new business and clients. He’s also run marketing workshops for new to the industry and experienced advisers and marketing teams.

So why Referrals? In 2020, Paul spotted a gap - whilst referrals are indeed the number one source of new business for established financial advisers, 60% clients said they would refer but had never been asked. 

 

Fast forward a few years’, Paul had designed a programme to help improve Adviser confidence and processes using Matt’s referral system and rolled it out to >500 advisers with some incredible results and hundreds of millions of pounds of new business.
